Terry will review challenges encountered with CAD models in supporting the design & manufacture of products in a global environment. Topics will include supplier model issues, translations, best practices, intellectual property, and delivering models to customers. Solutions will be reviewed, along with recommendations to minimize future challenges.
Terry is a Technology Advisor supporting CAD/CAE at Cummins. He has a MSME degree from Purdue, and has been involved with CAD/CAE since 1988. He held a variety of design, development, and technical positions at the Naval Avionics Center, Ford, DuPont, and Deere. He develops Pro/E best practices & provides user consulting, including tasks involving advanced part/assembly methods. He instructs advanced modeling classes at Cummins, and has served as an Adjunct Faculty for a community college.
