Leveraging 3D PDF for 3D Collaboration and Interoperability

Workshop Host: Jim Merry

Adobe Systems

3D Collaboration and Interoperability requires providing all participants access to necessary product data in a secure, reliable, low cost manner along with the appropriate tools to enable interaction modes for specific use cases such as view and markup, interrogation, data collection, and approval via digital signatures. In this workshop, Adobe will give in depth demonstration of how to build 3D PDF portfolios and templates for merging different types of product data including 3D data and associated XML data feeds using Acrobat Pro Extended, LiveCycle Designer, Adobe 3D Reviewer, and then show how to automatically populate the templates and apply dynamic rights management with Adobe Livecycle to produce rich PDF data packages that can be accessed and augmented using the free Adobe Reader.
